Hertha Ralto

Hertha Niela Ralto was the third daughter of King Mlungusi Ralto and Queen Xylona Allaste and an older sister to King Rynna Ralto.
After a distinguished career in the Army of Bartol, she joined the Royal Guard in AF 314, and eventually ended up as Captain of the Guard in Boltan Castle.
She died in AF 332 trying to defend Rynna from assassination by his own son Raghnall in the Throne Room at the castle, and she and three other members of the Guard were killed right in front of the Golden Throne of Bartol. In honor of that sacrifice, there was a plaque placed at that location on the floor, and the site is formally referred to as the Guards' Last Stand, though many call it "Hertha's Last Stand" instead.
