Kingdom of Bartol (BAR-tohl)

The Kingdom of Bartol is the leading human realm in Zantor, located in the lands closest to the eastern coast of the Great Continent.
The main regions of the kingdom are the core region of Bartolis, the East March, Bayern, and the Southern Duchies.
While considered part of the Kingdom by many people, the regions of Santar and North Reach are both nominally independent of Bartol. They are still heavily dependent on Bartol for trade, and in the case of Santar, for protection from marauders coming from the island of Miklaneyja.
