King

The title of King applied only to those territories designated as Kingdoms or Realms. In the entire Erdàn Savànii there are only two known regions this is, or has been, applicable.

Qal'ath

The rulers of Qal'ath have always (up to AFD 553 and for a while thereafter) been ruled by males who took on the title of King. If a current King had no sons, the reign would pass to a brother, or nephew to ensure the family line was maintained to some degree.

Shevezz

Before the peace agreement at the Table of Accord was signed, Shevess was a Kingdom. Since that time, the ruler has passed between males and females, with the eldest child being granted the honour regardless of gender or other dispositions.
At AFD 553, the current year, this principality is known as the Queendom of Shevezz, with its ruler known as a Queen.
