Gorge 'n Forge Blacksmith and Pastries

Although the typical smell of forged metals and coal waft about this smithy, also the smell of fresh baked pastries fills the air around this humble stone house. Both a place to repair your goods or rent time at the forge, as well as purchase some delicious doughnuts and eclairs. Run by the male dwarf Faarend, a brash and hearty dwarf with a love for cooking, but a body built for blacksmithing. Faarend is much more interested in offering his delicate pastries than he is repairing a set of armor, but he does both equally well. Faarend does not sell smithed wares as it is more of a hobby for him, but his selection of fine pastries includes a few magical variants that will bolster the health of any who is willing to part with a few gold. Quantities are limited and typically only 1d4-1 are available each week for the below treats.

History

The bakery was founded by Faarend roughly 15 years ago after he split from adventuring with his brother Baarend. Faarend sought out a small town away from Havengar and set up his bakery while learning some enchantments that he could weave into his pastries. Unfortunately, for the first few years, business was not very good, and Faarend was beginning to get into too much debt. He spent his early years learning how to smith and was very good at it, but hated doing it after so many years... but he was good at it...
Faarend decided to spend the last of his money to expand his business into two parts, half his beloved bakery, and the other half a large forge that he could use to build and repair the weapons and armor of passing travelers and adventurers. He noticed there were plenty passing through town, and his hunch paid off over time as the money rolled in to keep his bakery afloat.
After a few years, Faarend had learned enough of enchantment magic and his bakery skills had improved so much, that he had refular customers every day waiting outside of his shop. He got so busy that he had to hire a few assistants for the busy weekend days. And so, for the last few years at least, business has been great and while his skills at smithing have deminished, his bakery skills continue to improve.
