Blue Strixhaven Adept {Blue Magic} - InvisibilityDescription
Harper Longquill, a charismatic and free-spirited chaotic neutral non-binary Kender, stands at a height of about 4 feet with captivating blue eyes, auburn hair, and amber skin. Their unique appearance and artistic flair make them stand out in any crowd.History
Raised in a modest household by a single father, Harper grew up surrounded by the love and camaraderie of their six siblings. Their childhood was filled with lively interactions and a deep sense of familial bonds. From a young age, Harper displayed a remarkable talent for art and a boundless curiosity that drove them to explore the world. They found solace and inspiration in the depths of libraries, where they would lose themselves in ancient tomes and uncover hidden knowledge. It was during one of these ventures that they stumbled upon a forgotten spellbook, triggering their fascination with the arcane arts. Little did they know that delving into the pages of that spellbook would lead them into misadventures in the treacherous realm of the Shadowfell, shaping their love for tattoos and leaving a lasting mark on their artistic journey. As Harper discovered their affinity for magic and honed their artistic skills, they yearned for opportunities to channel their talents and merge them with the wonders of the world. Strixhaven's invitation presented the perfect opportunity for them to nurture their craft within the prestigious walls of the academy. With grand visions of bringing their art to life through a fusion of magic and creativity, Harper eagerly embarked on their journey, determined to unlock the true potential of their artistic expression.Gorwin Balbalar (True Neutral Dragonborn)
Harper has developed a deep bond with Gorwin Balbalar, a Druid who tends to his chickens in the nearby forest. Gorwin's unorthodox and carefree lifestyle resonates with Harper's own desire for freedom and authenticity. Their friendship is built on mutual understanding and acceptance, as Gorwin listens attentively to Harper's thoughts and concerns, providing a safe space for open and honest conversations. Harper finds solace in Gorwin's non-judgmental nature and wise advice, which often brings clarity and reassurance. Gorwin's connection with nature and his "live and let live" attitude inspire Harper to embrace their own uniqueness and follow their creative instincts without fear of societal judgment.Tulnen Fexea (Neutral Good Gnome)
While growing up Haper was discovered by Tulnen Fexea a cleric of Garl Glittergold. She recognized Harper's artistic talent and attempted to recruit Harper into becoming a member of her Artisan Guild "The Upright Do Wrights" (UdW). The guild promotes conforming to rigid artistic standards and traditional aesthetics. Tulnen explained that Harper would of course have to start off as a whitewasher but in a few years she could easily see Harper rising to the level of tracer or even a designer. But the only offer that Tulnen has ever gotten Harper to accept was to fund Harper's education and entrance into strixhaven, which was given with no strings attached.Relationships

Insight: You walk into Extradimensional Architecture II with a sense of unease, already bracing yourself for what’s to come. The subject matter is tougher than you expected, every concept layered with complexities that seem unnecessarily convoluted. As the lecture begins, Professor Onyx strides in, her presence unsettling as always. She dives right into the material without much preamble, her tone as cold and unyielding as the strange topics she’s covering. You try to keep up, but the rigid way she presents each idea feels more like a test of endurance than a learning experience. It’s clear she could stand to be a bit more flexible in her teaching style, but you know better than to expect that from her. Just when you think the lecture couldn’t get any more difficult to digest, she drops another one of her shocking statements, something that feels more like a veiled threat than a lesson. The way she twists the material with her unsettling remarks sends a chill down your spine, and you wonder if anyone else feels the same discomfort you do. Despite your best efforts, the class remains a grueling challenge, each session leaving you more rattled than the last. It’s not just the material that’s hard to swallow—it’s the way Professor Onyx delivers it, with an eerie edge that makes you wish she’d show just a little more humanity.

Insight: History of Magic and Art might sound like an intriguing class, but you quickly discover that it’s more like an elaborate trap designed to ensnare unsuspecting students. As you take your seat, you can’t shake the feeling that Professor Arkin Minexes has it out for you—and perhaps everyone else too. The material itself is fascinating, tracing the evolution of magic and art through the ages, but any enjoyment you might have gotten out of the subject is squashed under the professor’s relentless scrutiny. Every assignment is nitpicked, every paper returned with comments that leave you questioning if you even understood the prompt in the first place. It’s almost as if Minexes is trying to fail you on purpose, setting the bar impossibly high just to watch you struggle. What makes it worse is the professor’s complete lack of humor. The lectures are delivered in a dry, monotonous tone, devoid of any lightness or levity. Minexes seems to be allergic to the idea of a joke or a casual remark, making each class feel like a march through a barren wasteland of dates, facts, and theories. And then, of course, there’s the ethics. No matter what the topic—whether it’s the creation of a legendary painting or the invention of a powerful spell—Minexes always finds a way to twist it into a moral lesson. You start to wonder if there’s any part of magical history that isn’t somehow tangled up in ethical dilemmas. By the end of each class, you’re left exhausted, drained, and more convinced than ever that this course is less about learning and more about survival.

Aurora Luna Wynterstarr v- Javenesh and Aurora often spend time together at Bow’s End Tavern and both enjoy music. Aurora thinks Javenesh is the only one that really ‘sees’ her, and likes that she’s got such a supportive friend when it comes to her music.
- Urzmaktok is Aurora’s student mentor from Witherbloom, and they share similar philosophies with drawing power from living things. She doesn’t mind his odd take on hygiene, and finds his logical approach to life balances her artistic flair nicely.
- Aurora is the only person to dislike Zanther, as she is convinced he’s always being fake when acting so nicely toward everyone. ‘Toxic positivity’ is a phrase she uses often when talking about Zanther.
Cadoras Damellawar v
- Rosimyffenbip and Cadoras both share a love for the LARP guild and can often be found practicing their stage fighting at the archway commons. Cadoras thinks Rosie is potentially the coolest student on campus.
- Grayson and Cadoras have a sometimes intimate relationship. They first met when Cadoras approached the Future Entrepreneurs of Strixhaven with a business idea he had. Cadoras enjoys that Grayson’s lifestyle is so different to theirs, and yet they are so willing to share it. Cadoras hopes he can get Grayson to join the LARP guild eventually.
- Melwythorne has been annoyed at Cadoras ever since he saw them using Melwythorne’s favourite reading tree as target practice. Cadoras did not appreciate Melwythorne making the tree attack him back.
- Nora has disliked Cadoras ever since his smelly food habits attracted some stirges from the campus grounds, and threatened her chances at getting the Dormitories Resident Assistant position.
Drazhomir Yarnask v
- Javenesh took Drazhomir under his wing during their time working together as hosts for the university’s open day, and they have been friends ever since.
- Rosimyffenbip talks a mile a minute and is more than happy to talk to, and for, the quiet Drazhomir. This pleases Drazhomir greatly, and allows him to stay around others even when he doesn’t feel like talking much himself.
- Quentillius kept asking questions during the open day and got frustrated that this ‘big lump’ wouldn’t answer him. Drazhomir has disliked Quentillius ever since.
- Drazhomir is part of Urzmaktok’s study group, but he finds Urzmaktok distracting, constantly smelling of peculiar alchemical ingredients and always leaving a mess wherever he goes.
Javenesh Stoutclaw v
- Aurora actually started playing at Bow’s End tavern when Javenesh heard her music and convinced Tulk ‘The Bulk’ Tusktooth that this genre was something all the kids were listening to now. He thinks her music is the next big thing.
- Drazhomir didn’t like Javenesh at first, but for some reason, Javenesh persisted trying to make friends with him regardless. Javenesh has helped bring Drazhomhir out of his shell immensely.
- Urzmaktok once helped Javenesh out by patching him up after a fight, so that he didn’t have to go to the on campus nurse and answer questions that would inevitably get him into trouble.
- Javenesh believes Shuvadri is actually the culprit behind the graffiti on campus, and uses it as a way to make herself look better. Days after Javenesh spoke about this openly, he was brought into the campus security offices after reports he had written some particularly nasty graffiti. Javenesh swears it was not him.
- Rosimyffenbip has disliked Javenesh ever since he kicked her in the head with a silkball whilst she was practicing some of her LARP manoeuvres on the archway commons. Rosie believes Javenesh did this deliberately, after she caught him fouling whilst refereeing one of his silkball matches.
Shuvadri Glintmantle v
- Melwythorne and Shuvadri love to take long walks around campus together. Shuvadri especially appreciates the way in which Melwythorne uses druidcraft to cause vines and flowers to sprout from the walls after Shuvadri is done cleaning graffiti off of them.
- Shuvadri thinks that Javenesh is a thug, and swears that he is behind some of the more grammatically challenged graffiti on campus.
Urzmaktok Grojsh v
- Javenesh has always supported Urzmaktok ever since Urz patched him up after a fight. Urz has often overheard Javenesh go out of his way to defend Urzmaktok when people laugh at the orc’s bookish nature.
- Aurora’s music has quickly grown on Urzmaktok, and he has recently helped her experiment with lots of new sounds from living things to add to her songs (some methods to create these sounds are less ethical than others).
- Melwythonre despises Urzmaktok’s point of view regarding life and magic, and this has lead Urzmaktok to avoid the treant at all costs.
- Drazhomir is part of Urzmaktok’s study group, but he finds Urzmaktok distracting, constantly smelling of peculiar alchemical ingredients and always leaving a mess wherever he goes.
Zanther Bowen v
- Zanther genuinely wants everyone at Strixhaven to succeed and tries his best to get everyone to like him.
- Zanther is scared of Aurora, and avoids her at every opportunity. He will always be nice to her, but she is the only person Zanther won’t write a note to, to congratulate on passing an exam.
