Summerfrost Syndicate

House Summerfrost, more commonly known as the Summerfrost Syndicate, are one of the 13 great houses of Asrinheim and since their downfall at the end of the War of the Great Houses, a long standing branch of the Skallen Syndicate. One of the three major factions of their former seat of Tyris Ren alongside the town militia and Corvis Crime Family, the Summerfrosts are a criminal enterprise dealing in protection rackets, smuggling, enforcement, and deal brokering between other factions and smaller criminal enterprises throughout Asrinheim.   Having gone into a crime career at the end of the 2nd Age, the Summerfrosts have recently lost their station as the 'unofficial first family' of Tyris Ren due to the disasterous leadership of Antonio Summerfrost, the reinvigoration of the Corvis Family, and the apperance of the mysterious vigilante The Phantom. Structure

The Summerfrosts number around 100 members, including the 14 'Captains' of the name Summerfrost, their partners, and then the various associates, 'made men' and associates of the family who have joined or work alongside the syndicate. A lose structure, each Summerfrost will be assocaited with one portion of the business, either enforcement, smuggling, protection, deal brokering, and will often have other specialities around money laundering, smuggling routes, or book keeping.   The general 'soldiers' and 'associates' will work alongside the leading captains of the family in specific fields, but can be reassigned or assist the other members to avoid any one summerfrost outside of the Boss having too strong a powerbase.

Culture

The Summerfrost city of Tyris Ren has long been a 'godless' city - with the power of the Seldarine scarce being noticed in the town. As such, the family have a close relationship with the temple of Loki and worship of the honoured gods. As a great house, they also follow the customs of eldership - with the family boss often being called Elder. Skips of generations or members are more common, as certain members are more likely to be groomed for leadership than others.
