L'île de la Tempête, or the Island of Storms, is an island in the Sea of Sorrows.
Geography
The island is small, rocky, and barren. Its only structure is the Eye of Midnight, an ominous lighthouse near its center.
Localized Phenomena
L'île de la Tempête is subject to extreme tides and storms, and is frequently the site of shipwrecks. From the island's center, the Eye of Midnight calls to nearby ships, favoring those with lost and desperate crews. Sometimes, the beacon's light drifts from the surrounding Sea of Sorrows and into one of the worlds of the Material Plane, luring ships from outside into the Domains of Dread.
