The Witnesses of Yore
A seemlingly zealous pseudo-religious organization beginning to take root in the Tenth District. Their operations seem to be limited to handful of streetcorner preachers and proselytizers who occupy streetcorners decrying the "oppresion of the guilds" and demanding freedom.
Throughout the Tenth District they have a number of chapterhouses where the public can attend to engage with members of The Witnesses. One such chapterhouse was located in The Undercity settlement of Undecimus which seemed to have grown to a large number of memebers. Here, an old church was repurposed into their auditorium where an individual named Arthur Parsons was discussing his ideas.
Not much is known about the goals of The Witnesses of Yore but their beliefs appear to state that people should not be devoting themselves to the guilds, calling them "false gods and prophets" and that people should be free to follow any ideal. They also claim that the guildless are often treated as second class citizens in Ravnica as a whole.
It is suspected that The Witnesses of Yore's memebers may be responsible for the increase in public unrest and graffitti throughout the city. Such grafitti can be seen frequently with statements such as: "Yore Made Me Do It". The meaning behind these statements are as of yet unknown. It is also suspected that one or more of their members may be responsible for some homicides in the Tenth District, most notably of Elenda Nightingale.
Both Council of the Guildpact and agents of The House Dimir have been investigating the activities and purpose of this organization as their numbers grow.
