The madwoman behind the attacks on Augustine Station as well the destruction unleashed on Boros legionaries was captured. As hinted at in a previous Exclusive the attacker is a criminal known as Shockwave.
Efforts by a combined group of Izzet specialists and Golgari assassins lead to the capture of this mad woman. Guided by the keen mind of Wolfgang Airheart, the group was able to track down the mysterious terrorist and discover the location of her secret lab. According to Wolfgang, Shockwave had dangerous defenses and a team of trained assistants aiding her. They all put up a tremendous fight to avoid capture.
In the end Wolgang and his team were victorious, destroying the lab and capturing the mastermind behind these attacks. Wolfgang did confirm that Shockwave was a former Izzet League member who had broken protocols and rules in the past. "It is sad to see a brilliant mind corrupted by relentless hate."
Currently Shockwave is being held in a secure Azorius senate facility, and being questioned. For all her deranged behavior, it is unclear what she hoped to accomplish. Wolfgang lamented that a mind so damaged may hint at tampering from another source. Perhaps the hand of House Dimir is behind this?
Going forward the Izzet are working with the Boros to clean up the site of the laboratory to ensure no dangerous experiments or chemicals were left behind. The Izzet are also focusing on the big experiment on the 19th of Tevnember. Many residents of Precinct Four have noticed the abundance of airships and Izzet activity near the Red Waste.
I asked Wolfgang for a hint about the experiment, "Well, I can't say too much about it. But if it is a success then it will have wide ranging impacts on air travel beyond our District and across Ravnica.
With safety now ensured because of the capture of Shockwave, this reporter is looking forward to these new innovations and how they will play out over the next few days.
