4/16/22 Session: Sevii Islands 2 Through 4
General Summary
Today's session began with us collectively attempting to remember what had happened in the prior session, since it had been over a month since the last session. After some head scratching we were able to remember that the previous session involved the party arriving in the Realm of Pocket Monsters in the Sevii Islands. The arrived in the town of One Island on Knot Island. They met Professor Oak and Celio at the Pokémon Net Center and received the Tri-Pass for traveling on the Seagallop and their Starter Pokémon: Britney picked Eevee, Hansel picked Totodile, and Hector picked Charmander. The party asked Celio about the Azure Flute and discovered that he is in possession of one. He has agreed to give the party his Azure Flute if they can collect three objects for him: the Ruby of the Phoenix Flame, the Sapphire of the Snowbird Ice, and the Citrine of the Thunderbird Bolt. He told them that they should be found in Mt. Ember, the Icefall Caves, and the Tanoby Ruins respectively. He also asked the party to deliver a package to the Joyful Game Corner on Boon Island. The party explored Knot Island to get to Mt. Ember. While doing so they captured some new Pokémon, battled some trainers, and evolved their starters. The party successfully retrieved the Ruby of the Phoenix Flame from the mountain and brought it back to Celio. In exchange for bringing him the first gem he gave them the Rainbow Pass, allowing them to freely travel all of the Sevii Islands.
In the April 16th session the party continued through the Islands in order. They traveled on the Seagallop Ferry to Boon Island where they explored the town of Two Island and the area known as Cape Brink. The party discovered that the Joyful Game Corner was closed. They found a note marked with a symbol of an Electrode that stated "come get the owner if you want your games!" The party found that the owner's brother lived next door. He told the party that bikers who lived on Kin Island had been harassing his brother.
The party took the Seagallop to Kin Island; there they found the biker gang in the town of Three Island holding the owner of the Joyful Game Corner for ransom money since he had not paid on his loan. After battling the gang the party was able to free the owner. He told the party that if they were traveling the Sevii Islands, they should visit Kin Island's Berry Forest where his daughter Lostelle works. The party traveled across the Bond Bridge to the Berry Forest. When they arrived at the forest they found Lostelle being attacked by a wild Hypno; they saved her.
Lastly the party traveled to the town of Four Island on Floe Island. There they went into the Icefall Caves to look for the Sapphire of Snowbird Ice. At the back of the cave the party found an angry Articuno and a Team Rocket Grunt, but no Sapphire. The party defeated the grunt and was told that the gem was taken by Gideon to the Team Rocket Warehouse on Chrono Island. Britney captured the Articuno with a Masterball that she had found.
