Diplomatic action
Wilmoor the Wise thought that he was in Sevalith to wed it's princess, Lady Lenora Spectre, and secure political power in the Refelctive Planes. However, much to his surprise, Lord Spectre had other plans. While teaching The Multiversal Rangers a lesson, he destroyed the The Tower of Worlds and killed Wilmoor, establishing himself and the armies of Sevalith as the biggest threat to the Feywild and The Material Plane.
Wilmoor the Wise, after freeing himself from his genie lamp prison, moved the Tower of Worlds from the Astral Plane and into the Shadowfey. He had met with Lord Spectre and made a political agreement that Wilmoor would be given access to experiment with the Great Astral Maw and in return would return his son, Hector C. Spectre, to him. Wilmoor tethered his tower to Sevalith with a chain of eldritch magic. This agreement would be sealed with the wedding of Wilmoor and Spectre's daughter, Lady Lenora Spectre. This plan changed though, when the Multiversal Rangers arrived in Sevalith aboard the Hateful Howl. Lord Spectre no longer needed a mortal to fetch his son. The Rangers were brought to palace by Abdul D. Ghoul, the Shadow Ranger clone of Hector. While in the throne room, Lord Spectre confronted his son about hum running away. He showed his power by killing Death and Wilmoor and breaking the chain holding the Tower of Worlds. This destroyed the tower, the debris being sucked into the Great Astral Maw. Wilmoor's allies in the tower were lost in the multiverse. The meeting concluded with an act of mercy. Lord Spectre gave the rangers the parts they sought to fix The Oracle and sent them back to the ship in the Sea of Sorrows.
