Feathers of the Crane

Holders

Yung Pagoni, God of Peacocks- Yung has one of Soliairs' feathers, often kept within his robe. He was given it not long after their children were born so that Soliairs could more easily drop them off under his care and return to pick them up.   Benjamen Stridde- as Soliairs' right hand and lover, Ben wears his feather from the god as an earring.   Heritai Pagoni and Gulana Taeyang- Both of Soliairs' biological children have small collections of Soliairs' feathers, in case they are lost. Heritai in particular, as he lives away from Soliairs and their crew, keeps his on hand. It is assumed though not confirmed that Soliairs' adopted children, such as Namen Lugal, also have feathers of their own.   Ryoma, God of Tuna- Has mentioned having one of the feathers, though it has not been confirmed.   Olrath- Like Ryoma, she has mentioned it in passing, although the feather itself has not been seen.   Ludovic- Ludovic was given one of Soliairs' feathers during his stay on the Temple of the Crane while recovering from his injuries. He has attached it to his blade, Rimewraith.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The feathers, as they are Soliairs' own actual feathers from their divine form, contain a great deal of the god's power and can be used in a variety of ways. Soliairs themself has confirmed the feathers can be used to call out to them and allow them to manifest through the artifacts at the user's location should they be in trouble, albeit temporarily. Ben has also noted that the user can use them to take on Soliairs' form should it be needed. Like other artifacts of the gods, it is assumed that the feathers allow their users to tap into their power directly for as long as is needed at a cost to Soliairs' own while they are in use.

Significance

These feathers are plucked directly from Soliairs themself and given to key allies and members of their cult. Symbolically, they represent Soliairs' vested interest in protecting the individuals who hold them, as they can be used to call upon Soliairs and their power directly. The feathers are reserved for Soliairs' closest allies, one where should they be harmed would be devastating for the crane god.
