Jun's hair is a light cream with a black section framing the left side of her face. Her wings are also significantly smaller than most demons, likely due to mixed heritage.

Like most caretakers in the Pack of Ferventi, Jun wears a bright red shawl adorned with images of wolves, fish, and birds of prey. Hers in particular also shows her higher ranking in the pack, in that she has earned a needlecoat mantle on her shoulder, decorated with silver fox tails. Jun most often wears ankle length skirts paired with blouses, jumpers, or buttonups and hiking boots.

Jun is a registered nurse and midwife, having received all training and education to do so in emergency/wilderness settings.

Employment

Jun is a caretaker among the Montanan Mountains Pack, among their most experienced aside from the sect's leader, Selene Cortez. As head caretaker, she is responsible for all other caretakers under her, as well as being the primary doctor for all of the sect's needs, from midwifery, emergency medicine, general care, and even limited surgical needs. She is also responsible for the training of all apprentice caretakers in their duties. Although overseeing the pack's training of new caretakers, she specializes in medical needs, insisting all caretakers regardless of specialty receive some form of official medical certification 'just in case'.

History

Jun and Selene's relationship is a long one, with both being senior members of their sect of the pack. Both were trained and worked together as caretakers for decades, before Selene took over as the leader of their sect. Selene ensures that they keep their long partnership and respective duties to the pack separate, with as little bias as possible, while still maintaining their great friendship while not on duty.

History

When Ryoten joined the pack, he was first placed under Jun's care as a new member. He quickly took interest in her day to day work and began to assist her in her duties, with time and earned respect becoming one of her apprentices. Jun oversaw Ryoten's trials to become a caretaker himself, and on his success in passing them, was one of the hosts celebrating his newfound role. The two remain close, splitting many of their duties together, and regard each other as family.
Jun was present for and assisted in the birth of Ryoten's daughter, and was actually named Myrena's godmother by the young couple.

Nicknames & Petnames

Ryoten will often jokingly call Jun 'Auntie', and she in turn will shorten his name to just 'Ten'. Occasionally, she calls him hun or honey, a nickname she used for many of the young adults in the pack, but is used much more commonly when referring to him.

History

As a hunter and the primary cook for their sect, Burke frequently works with the caretakers, and that includes the pack's head caretaker, Jun. The pair get along well and Jun taught him many recipes and dishes, as well as how to cook them properly in the wilderness with highly limited rations and cookware. Burke will almost always check in with Jun prior to leaving on a hunt or resupply mission, and often acts as her personal guard if she leaves the camp.
