Freyr
(a.k.a. Lord, The Fruitful)
God of Sacred Kingship, The Sun, Prosperity, Virility and Fertility, Freyr is a popular diety with many, but especially farmers and Jarl's. He is said to rule both Rain and Sunshine, and to bring bountiful harvests, strong flocks and beautiful children. He has a companion Boar named Gullinbursti who was fashioned for him by Dwarves and has bristles that glow in the dark.
He travels aboard his ship, Skithblathnir, which is suppose to be the greatest ship of the Gods, able to transport all of them to any place one can imagine.
Freyr's sword possesses the ability to fight on its own, if drawn by one honourable and true.
Freyr is the son of Njord and a member of the Vanir.
