Thor
(a.k.a. God of Thunder, Gaurdian of Asgard)
Thor, Guardian of Asgard, son of Odin and the Giantess Jord, is the strongest of the Gods. While his father is wisdom and cunning, Thor is Brawn and courage and is often contrasted with his sometimes companion Loki. Thor is straightforward as a deity, and while he loves to Feast, tell tales of his exploits, he enjoys earning those feasts far more. He challenges Giants and Monsters alike to battles and throws himself at any problem. This, unfortunately, makes him easily manipulatable, and his wife Sif is at pains to keep him from yet again being tricked by Loki into serving that gods ends.
Thor appears as a massive Warrior, strongly build and in full armour; with a Great Red Beard and full main of hair, eyes that flash like lightning, and wielding his legendary Hammer against all foes. He has several sons, both by his wife and with other Giantesses.

Sacfrifices to Thor occur regularly eveywehre; before meals, before and after battles, during and after storms. But he venerates offerings given at the New Moon, mostly burnt offerings of animal flesh.
