OSAD Session 10 - Bloodlines
General Summary
Aimee prepares to head to Star-That-Shines with Lor but before she can leave Rose Goldbrand pays her a visit. Rose asks Aimee to bring the other two members of the party around to the idea of The Royal Unifiers. She also asks Aimee to understand that she is on her side.
Later Aimee and Lor are teleported to Star-That-Shines, where they find Phizlana in a comatose state. Virrian arrives with a head wound and tells Lor he is having her locked up for his own protection. Aimee manages to heal Phizlana and wake her up, revealing she had a spider fiend within her. Virrian is thankful but does not let Lor go. Aimee and Lor plan and carry out a breakout from her brother's grasp.
Meanwhile, Alistaer and Ella meet up with Zevna, with Ali and Zevna talking about his plan to pretend to die before sleeping with one another.
Later Ali meets with The Custodian, who asks Ali to go to a secret meeting being held by the Beckett lords. To gain access, The Custodian says Ali will need to blackmail Kenric Beckett to go as his plus one. Ali also meets up with Bill Strapper.
Lor and Aimee investigate a murder that was brought to Virrian's attention earlier that he ignored. At the murder scene, Lor discovers that the victims are related to Nol, Lor's deceased lover. The crime scene includes references to killing the family for the sake of keeping a bloodline pure and that an elf was involved in a struggle there, while all the victims are humans.
This scene and information greatly distress Lor. Later the duo bump into Xune, who says she is on their side, and points them toward a safe house as Virrian has men all over the city looking for the two of them.
Xune talks with Lor while she is there by sending jewelry and Lor tells Aimee that her lover was murdered and she lost her baby due to the stress some years back.
