2021/11/24: Exploring Sith's Tower Part 1 Report
General Summary
Knight, Sith, Keel/Bael, Buzz, Aurelin
Knight is going to have to try meditating about the inventory curse when he’s back on the material plane. Sith used remove curse with megalomania to try to remove the issue, but it only got 99% of it.
The kobold we rescued, Kikibald, has been offered asylum in New Hallownest. He’s 1 HD.
The thing that fought Chaz-Achk-Thuum in Sith’s Tower was a void wolf thing. Very dangerous, no idea where it came from. Chaz-Achk-Thuum got beat up, but he did win when he obliterated it completely. It appeared and attempted to stop Adrienne, the goddess of Creation, when she went to save Sith.
Knight, Aurelin, and Keel went back to finish the meeting. The nations have agreed to share information. No one wants to send armies to support each other, but they’re willing to agree to send strike teams of higher-level people, or at least to hire them from the work territory.
The Queen of Curses is holding the followup meeting in Shadowcove. Everyone is always welcome there.
Everyone bought a slave from Deephawk Outpost to act as a mental contact person, linked by the ulitharid. Aurelin bought a spare. Knight owes Aurelin 5000 gp.
For the next meeting, Knight will be bringing a big (and mostly blank) map of the Underdark so all the leaders can get oriented. They can fill in their own areas. Knight’s markings of the tunnels around Darkhome won’t be fully accurate, because he doesn’t trust these people farther than he can throw them.
Keel has been left at the Dragon Lord’s Castle with Ios. Bael was picked up there, and will be happy to join the fight against the beholders around New Hallownest. Knight chatted with Bael about what interesting things Bael learned while at the castle.
Sith picked up Buzz and investigated the vault in his tower. The vault was completely missing, and a children’s section of the library was in its place. There was a notable book called Fergus the Big Flaming Dog.
Knight and Bael used the dream nail on the Fergus book, which (of course) pulled them into a battle with Fergus. It seemed suicidal and pointless, so Knight cut them a way out.
We encountered a shadowy hat man in the library. He said he’d been summoned by Sith to guard the place. He was able to guide the group to the vault, which had been shuffled to a different place in the library. The library was shuffled in general.
We explored a bit more of Sith’s tower and attic. There was weird, chaotic stuff in there, which is by no means a surprise.
