2022/03/30: Jade Phoenix Battle Report
General Summary
Knight, Ruby, Sith, Sunderfury, Voren
Group attacked evil ninja warehouse base. Destroyed a bunch of terracotta warriors. Then we walked into a fight between a well-muscled martial artist and a bunch of Yakuza types. A boss, a flame-haired mage woman, two men in suits with lots of tattoos, a lightning monk, a lightning swordsman, and an enormously fat man who isn’t participating.
The muscular martial artist is named Kenju Kenhaku and is carrying a staff that could be mistaken for a tree trunk. An old muscular warrior in beggar’s clothes with a big club walked up partway through and didn’t get involved.
The fat guy is Zanib the Fat. He seems to eat magic cast at him. He treats all attempts to harm him with amusement and has made no attempts to attack in return. Ranthael says “Slay!” but we didn’t have any apparent means to do so. Sith tried throwing a mundane spear at him, and his body started to consume it. We left him there.
Kenju lives in the woods we were planning to head through to get to the chasm. He guided us through a lot of it and found us an old, half-ruined fortress to stay the night in. Unfortunately, there’s now a headless Bushido Prime stomping slowly through the woods towards us…
