Stygia is the fifth circle of Hell.

Geography

Stygia is freezing realm of ice, with dancing flames of cold. A dark sky provide dim light between frequent clashes of cold lightning.

Climate

Creatures without protection from cold, or arcane means of warmth quickly freeze.

Snow, freezing mist, and swirling winds whistling eerily through the blocks of ice are the atmospheric effects.

History

Ages ago another archdevil, Geryon was the ruler of Stygia. Geryon was dismissed by Asmodeus and imprisoned Levistus was reinstalled as Lord of Stygia.
