Jirrka

Jirrka are large black and green megarthropods native to the jungles of Kemesh, the size of a pony, which prey mainly on keratoplexans, birds and smaller arthropods. They are less intelligent relatives of the kreja of Okaluan. They are exclusively arboreal, rarely coming down from their habitat in the middle layer of the Kemesh forest canopy. The Lakti varhani warriors steal their eggs as a rite of passage, in order to raise them as mounts and hunting companions.
