Mahanara

Mahanaras are powerful exani. They are naras, Eshti for evil spirits, who have consumed weaker naras, subverted other naras to their wills and seduced mortals into worshipping them. Few explicitly worship them, but many call out to them to carry out curses or to have desires fulfilled.

Their worship is illegal in the Kalmasan Samraj, however since the United Temples of Evran declared the native teotl Ucuriaztl to be a mahanara, they have contended with persistent worship of the Teteo among the native Calmaxtec, who reject the notion that he is a great devil, claiming him as a symbol of Calmaxtec strength.
