Shuna'ane
The Shuna'ane perform the rituals of drakir, including the blood-binding ritual. Powerful shuna'ane have the ability to travel far in spirit form, leaving their bodies behind. They can also commune with Tishkonach and appeal for healing and protection. All shuna'ane give up their name upon taking up their spiritual mantle. It is not permitted to look into their eyes or to greet or speak to them casually or without permission.
Shuna'ane live by themselves, in dwellings built for them by the drakir clan from which they were born. The dwellings are large and are used for ceremonies as well as personal dwellings. Drakir periodically deliver foodstuffs and other gifts to any Shuna'ane dwelling they live near.
The Shuna'ane are against the mining and tree clearing that some drakir have begun to engage in, warning that they are angering Tishkonach and the local spirits of wood and stone. They have encouraged their people to resist the relentless push of the Brynir from the south in the endless pursuit for more wood for their ships and land for their crops.
