Western Jolnic

The origin of the Western Jolnic languages is more difficult to pin down then their eastern counterparts. It is a looser, more variable language group. Many of its languages, particularly the Vandisc languages, are often not mutually intelligible, even though they are clearly related. They are referred to as 'Western' only to differentiate them from Eastern Jolnic. However their speakers range as far east as the western side of the Fridhalbjerge Mountains, farther east than half of the countries speaking Eastern Jolnic languages.

Western Jolnic languages generally follow SOV word order and most have complex verb conjugations and involve a large amount of agglutinative words.
