Jolnic Languages

The Jolnic languages are the oldest human language group in Torvalen. Most scholars studying the languages agree that they possess strong similarities with languages spoken by ethnic groups in northwestern Utanar. There are two main Jolnic language groups, Eastern Jolnic and Western Jolnic. These language groups have different grammatical structure and word order, but share a large amount of mutually intelligible vocabulary.

Eastern Jolnic consists of the Ostisc, Skjoldisc and Thalkunisc languages. Western Jolnic consists of the Vandisc and Brynisc languages.

Successor Languages
