The Great Leviathan is Killed

Revolution

A revolution takes place in the deep city of Marinas. The Triton continued to blame the Leviathan (and now Elryn) for the lack of resources. This culminates in a peasant uprising. The imposing of Elryn as a Queen had created the divide the Triton were trying to avoid in the first place. The revolution ends after 10 drawn-out years after the combined effort of the entire Triton people manages to kill The Great Leviathan. Elryn escapes the chaos with Zhalsuth and takes refuge in Grim.

Primordials as strong as The Great Leviathan rarely die in a meaningful way. While the Leviathan's physical form now exists as a corpse, its spirit lives on in a realm outside of the material plane.
