Rune

Another world polished by time and the warp, Rune is tentatively categorized as a “script-world”. Some ancient race carved lines of swirling text (or, what is presumed to be text) into the smooth stone of Rune. Fragmentary images of the script have circulated among xenolinguists; translation has been declared an impossibility.
Aside from the strange text Void-kraken are rumored to haunt the system as well, moving in and out of the Rifts of Hecaton and the system of Run itself. Nothing has been discovered to warrant a reason behind this strange attraction between the system and the immense warp storm but most haven't stayed long in the system to find out why either. Usually at the first sight of the chaos spawned cephalopodan horrors, savvy captain make themselves scarce leaving the system and it's secrets to itself.
