Ikoma Junnosuke
Born to the Ikoma Family Daimyo, Junnosuke was among one of the competitors for Emperor, sent to Winter court to interview with Shosuro Hide. He never showed up at his interview, though, as he was currently infatuated with a Kaeru woman named Kaeru Masuyo, and too bullheaded to listen to his father's wishes.
Junnosuke met Masuyo in Toshi Kaeru, where the two of them got caught up in an investigation together. She insulted him and treated him poorly, a thing nobody had ever done to him before out of fear. He got increasingly frustrated, and increasingly aroused, until eventually a fight between them lead to him kissing her--and kissing her lead to fucking.
Masuyo, a self-professed woman who had no attraction to men, quickly became an obsession. He made excuses to see her. Stole artifacts to woo her, and, eventually, made a deal with her to marry her. Masuyo was unwilling to give up her position as Governess of Toshi Kaeru and the head of the Kaeru family, so, instead, she took on a second life under adoption by a young girl whom she had given succor to before she became the daimyo of a Minor Clan.
During the Winter months, Masuyo stayed in the Palace of the Ikoma, as the sickly wife of the new Lion Clan Champion, and gave him one pair of twins--a girl and a boy with hair as bright as his. During the Spring, Summer, and Fall, she returned to her work in Toshi Kaeru under the guise of staying home.
Junnosuke was perfectly happy with this arrangement, even if it cost him a pretty penny in exchange.
