Toturi Himeko
The eldest daughter of Hantei Kaia and Toturi Taro, she is a mix of some of her parents' worst and best traits.
She is calm and courtly in appropriate surroundings, but has a thirst for adventure that she drags her Yojimbo on that puts both her and him in danger at times. Her obsession with strange, fantastical creatures has on more than one occasion, gotten Hantei Toga in over his head--never too much for it to blow back on her yet, and Toga is a participant in his own destruction, being addicted to glory and all.
Himeko is reserved and sweet, and a little oblivious when people like her. It took Hantei Oridai several less than successful tries to confess to her, before he had to make it obvious by kissing her on one of their strange adventures. She doesn't dislike Oridai, but she's not sure she's ready for a relationship, and she's not even sure if their relationship could ever be real. I mean, as the Empress she has free choice, but her parents will certainly make a suggestion, and she's not sure she could refuse them.
