Beastfolk
Beastfolk are a diverse group of humanoid races that share a common trait of having animalistic features or abilities. They are often called "Beastfolk" as a catch-all term, although some consider it a derogatory term used by those who discriminate against them. These races can be found all over Rondo, but are more commonly found in the enchanted forest, Heartlands, Vlatdet, or the Wastelands.
Centaur, Changeling, Firbolg, Harengon, Lizardfolk, Minotaur, Shifter, Tabaxi, Yuan-ti, Leonin, Loxodon, and Simic Hybrid are all considered Beastfolk. Despite their differences, they share some similarities in their history of being exiled or marginalized by other races.
In many cases, Beastfolk have physical features that resemble animals, such as hooves, fur, scales, or tails, and may have abilities such as enhanced senses or natural weapons. They have a range of cultures, customs, and beliefs, and some may even worship animal gods or spirits.
Although Beastfolk can face discrimination and persecution from other races, they are also known for their resilience and adaptability. Many have learned to live as wanderers or in small communities without a centralized government, although some larger Beastfolk settlements do exist.
