Future in the pool
Banniks can see briefly into the future (as per the Augury spell) up to three times per day, using the water of the Banya baths as a scrying pool. They quickly grow displeased with mortals who take advantage of their abilities - although a Bannik may be more lenient if the mortals' values align with its own.

If a Bannik's preminisions are used frequently by the same individual, the Bannik will start demanding offerings of incense and other perfumes as payment.The result of the Bannik's future vision is based on what the Bannik himself would consider a favourable or unfavourable outcome, rather than the person asking the questions.

Common Etiquette Rules
It is common folk knowledge that if a mortal is to address a Bannik, they must greet the creature as "Old Man", out of respect. Banniks appreciate gifts of perfumes, incense, and other bathtime enhancers, particularly if they are being frequently asked to provide visions.
