Vedma (Spirit of Witch Covens)

Vedma are the spirits of witch covens. Tiny, often green and always female, they can be thought of as simultaneously the coven's familiar, a witch and the coven itself. Vedma sometimes have a diminuative pet cat, bat or mouse with them, who helps them with their duties.

Notable witch covens that are known to have Vedma spirits attached include:
Ash Coven: A coven of witches in the Forest of Frost, who are working to prevent the spread of the Winter Witches into their territory. The Ash Coven Vedma is counted as a member of the coven in her own right (and so is her cat, Koshka).
Nightcrystal Coven: The coven of Koshmar the Night Hag. The Nightcrystal Coven Vedma hides her face with a skull mask and glows the colour of nightmares.
