The Kikimora in the Walls
Structure
Conflict
A Kikimora has invaded Vasilly's hut and is up to mischief. She has set a swarm of spiders on the party and taken some of their stuff. The party have learned that the Kikimora has a hidey-hole somewhere under the floor, but not in the study where Vasilly destroyed at random! They also know from the trees that the area under the stove is particularly cold, while the area under the hearth is particularly warm.

This should indicate to the party that there is something weird under the stove, that something being the Kikimora's hidey-hole in which there is a shard of unmelting ice.
Climax
Either the party find the hidey-hole under the stove, where the Domovoi used to live, and when they do, the Kikimora attacks or the party don't find the hidey-hole and the Kikimora is caught out in the open while stealing items and they fight, or diplomacy with her in the open. Either way, the party will defeat the Kikimora and find the hidey-hole.
Falling Action
In the hidey-hole the party discover that the Kikimora has quite a collection. There are the items that Baboushka noticed were missing:
- Parchement
- 2 bottles of vodka
- A loaf of rye bread
- Animal feed
- 2 books: On the origin of spirits by Alexander Afanasyev and A winter's tail by Uil Yam.
- 3 balls of yarn in different colours: white, brown and blue
- Kikimora feathers, with which she has used to line her nest
- Oleg's torn teddy bear
- A shard of unmelting ice
