Peas Treaty of the Mushroom Wars
Baboushka and Bogdan are in the
The Glittering Valley, where they must conduct a peas treaty with the
The Mushroom Kingdom and
The Pea Kingdom, or the valley will redecend into all-out war.
Vasilly on the Road
Vasilly must guide the
Mishkinaries to the village of
Ketterpesh. On the way they are attacked by a band of
Cossack Polkans, who will rob the carriage if they are not fought off.
The Village of Ketterpesh
Vasilly wants to purchase a new bed for Bogdan and make introductions for the Mishkanaries. A bed can be comissioned from
Kuznetsovina, the Blacksmith, for 10gp or from
Nikolas, the Carpenter, for 15gp but it won't be ready to collect until the morning, so Vasilly, Baboushka and Bogdan have the afternoon that they can spend in
Ketterpesh, and they can stay in the
Meadhall over night.
Return to Vasilly's Hut
When the party return to Vasilly's hut with their new bed and anything else they have purchased, they enter to find the
Kikimora in the living room, her arms full of stolen knick-knacks, including shiny bottles and one of Bogdan's pet bunny
rabbits. The party has the option to either diplomacy or fight the Kikimora, and in so doing they find her hidey-hole and collection of treasures.
Birch and Leshee
If the party hasn't already met Birch, they will now do so. Leshee will bring Birch to their door, and Birch will tell them about the curse of the
Touch of Winter, which is affecting the
Spirits of the Old Beliefs. She will explain that she asked Vasilly's wife,
Anna for help, and sent her towards
Ash Coven, and hasn't heard what became of her. If asked, Birch will know nothing about Vasilly's son. If the party decide to go after Anna and help Birch find out what's happening to the spirits, she will gift them
Birchwood Armour,
Birchwood Bark Tea and
Birchwood Lapti, that will allow Leshee to accompany them without falling sick or fading away.
