Sloanesworth

Sloanesworth is a small village in Reshnia located between Zhiport and Friford. It is a poor, desperate place, and survives primarily by shipping fish to the larger cities. Due to the extreme poverty in the village, it's known to be a dangerous place, with many criminals making this village their headquarters or coming here to escape other cities.

Government

While there once was a government set up in the village, this collapsed with the economic collapse of the village itself.

Industry & Trade

Sloanesworth deals primarily in selling fish to nearby cities. Due to the village being built originally as a trade city, most of the region is unfit for any other forms of industry, either through damage to the land or due to the type of industry being far too costly to start up.

Guilds and Factions

While no official guilds stand in Sloanesworth, it's said that the Reshnian Thieves' Guild owns buildings in the village that are used as safehouses for their members.

History

Sloanesworth was once an epicenter of trade, due to most of the land routes taking merchants through this village. Many travelers would come to Sloanesworth to buy and sell, and many merchants would set up temporary shops in the then city, since it was one of the most central locations on Reshnia. However, with the invention of the Airship, many merchants opted into flying their merchandise due to this being significantly safer, which caused Sloanesworth to lose the vast majority of its business.
