"No! It's Sameshima! Saa-meh-she-ma!"An Orien girl raised in Aestus. Feeling as though she doesn't have a greater purpose, she set off on a journey to find something that would reserve her a spot in history books. Kaiyo's biggest goal is to locate a catalyst that, when applied to an arcane spell, would create a portal that leads to another world. Upon encountering the Windwell Guild on her travels, she accompanied their adventures in hopes of finally locating the treasure she seeks. Has the best sense of smell in her party.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Very agile and possesses a lot of stamina. However, she cannot receive much punishment herself.

Fair, white skin tone.
Facial Features
Sharp, but very youthful looking eyes.
Special abilities
Kaiyo specializes in applying magic to her strikes and can imbue her weapon with basic elemental traits, creating things such as a flaming sword or an electric slash. Wind spells in particular are rather easy for her to cast. She can also allow her body to disassemble into colorful flower petals and reassemble at will, which she uses to dodge or move around quickly.
Apparel & Accessories
Often wears a kimono and ties her hair with accessories displaying a flower design.
Specialized Equipment
Uses a blessed katana that she named Sasanoyuki. It appears to be unbreakable and can cut through dragon scales as though they were leaves on a tree.

Kaiyo tended to local shrines in her hometown before setting off on her journey.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- Endured a harsh journey through the worst locations in Aestus all by herself.
- She, along with the rest of her guild, was able to spar with Clover Bennett for longer than ten minutes without much issue. They still lost, but it was a good experience!
- Has killed multiple wyverns on her journey, with a good chunk of those being done alone.

An unfortunate mistake has resulted in her being whisked away to an unknown world. The rest of her guild is currently trying to find a way to see her again.

Kaiyo is immensely afraid of being forgotten by those around her. She seeks to leave an impact on history so that she can feel as though someone in the world will always remember what she has done.
Morality & Philosophy
Kaiyo sees death as a natural part of life and is quick to adjust to the sight of it. She feels no sympathy for those that have committed grave sins in their lives, but will still mourn the loss of others. That being said, her philosophy allows her to be ready to die at any moment, but given her current motivation for living, she refuses to let that happen anytime soon, regardless of how a fight for her turns out.
