And before you ask, yes, my mom's a sexy witch, my genes are blessed, shut up."A young woman from Windwell and Leon's girlfriend. She is the only daughter in a family of fairly well-known fire mages. Despite her affinity for the element, she prefers to keep her family name and reputation a secret (as she is rather embarrassed about it) and chose to instead modify her style for a unique form of healing magic. Now a medic for the Windwell Guild, she travels all over Sagrea for the thrill of adventure. Is a surprisingly decent breakdancer.

Not the most physically fit adventurer and is rather slender, but when push comes to shove, she can pull off some acrobatic feats.

Special abilities
Natalie has modified her knowledge of fire and healing magic to create a highly efficient healing aura that can selectively heal a large amount of people at once without expending too much mana. The auras resemble flames and are reported to make the target feel a rather warm and calming sensation when affected.
Aside from healing, Natalie possesses incredibly destructive magic ability with fire magic in general. She conceals this unless she absolutely must fight at her best potential (or if she spars with Leon). Her magic can be used to eliminate monsters with a wild flare dance or create a fire that she can use to cook up a stew.
Apparel & Accessories
Wears a white button-up coat and a darker colored skirt. A small crimson and gold scarf is wrapped around her neck. She sometimes wears a witch's hat that her mother gave her, but she doesn't bring it out very often. Many of her supplies and other items owned by her party is stored in a satchel she carries around.
Specialized Equipment
Natalie holds a wand she dubs the Crowning Staff, which, aside from doing what a wand usually does and focuses/channels magic into a focused object with ease, can be used as a blunt weapon that allows her to cast a stun or sleeping spell on the opponent.
Well, okay, she's just whacking their heads with a blunt object. But it gets the job done!

Personal history
Natalie grew up with her childhood friend, Leon Karras in the town of Windwell. Longing for adventure, she would often try to join him to get out of the house, but to little avail. One day, she started to feel more left out than usual, so she spread rumors all over town about how he was such a wonderful hero who could take on anything. Under the guise of "improving his reputation and self-confidence", she hoped that this would eventually lead to him getting a big enough job that he would practically be forced to take her along an adventure after so long.
This went a little too well.
The rumors began to inflate in scale, and because of her silly little game of telephone, Leon decided to head out and find a job of legendary proportions to sate his own wanderlust before people found out nothing was true. But hey, this let her join her favorite person on a trip across the land! Not that she'd ever tell him that she caused all of this, of course, but it's not like she meant for it to get this out of hand.
Education
Aside from proper schooling, her parents taught her everything she knows about fire magic. Her application of fire magic to modified healing spells, however, is entirely self-taught.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- Taught herself how to develop her own form of healing magic by combining and modifying her knowledge of fire spells with standard healing auras.
- She, along with the rest of her guild, was able to spar with Clover Bennett for longer than ten minutes without much issue. They still lost, but it was a good experience!
Failures & Embarrassments
Her attempts at making her boyfriend take her on an adventure for once backfired when her "self-confidence boosting rumors" began to inflate to unbelievable feats. It still worked, but she didn't mean for it to get this bad.
Natalie is very embarrassed by her lineage, but mostly because of how she thinks her family name sounds almost too over-the-top to be legitimate. She gets flustered and frustrated when people attempt to justify their expectations of her through the Emberlight family's reputation, and as such prefers to hide it in order to prove her own competence to others. She secretly likes the sound of her last name, though, so she keeps her pseudonyms fire-themed to show some love to her family anyway.

Natalie wouldn't hurt anyone unless spurned into a fight for one reason or another. She would rather heal others than instigate conflict. That being said, monsters are fair game unless they show a willingness to communicate.

History
Ever since they grew up together in Windwell, Leon and Natalie have been childhood sweethearts and began dating at some point before their guild was officially founded. They both started to develop feelings for each other when they were around 13 years old. Natz didn't know how to properly process her newfound feelings to her childhood friend, so she decided to send him a letter that said to get out of town, where she then challenged Leon to a duel. They both confessed in the middle of the fight and the rest is history. No better way to get to know someone than beating the tar out of them, it seems. They are now extreme sweethearts in the present day, to the point of being rather embarrassing to see in public.

Natalie and Kaiyo share a close bond, knowing that regardless of what happens, they'll have each other's backs. And when that's done, Natz can patch up Kaiyo's wounds.
