The Underbiters and the Overbiters have long been at odds. Separated by a common belief in science but a difference of how to interpolate the data. The Underbiters, like Dawk, are certain that their differences from hair bearing creatures are an indication of more advanced life. The Overbiters see the differences as descriptive but not prescriptive of advancement.
History
Dawk and Friar Hank met at Concussive Curatives the day he washed up. After Dawk was helped by a member of the Bedrock Society he was remanded into Hank’s care. They shared a bottle of Chipteran Wine and waxed philosophical all night. Turns out they agree on some things.
History
They met after Evangeline’s escape from the Koa Toan ambush. Dawk was the first person to receive her when she came looking for help and he was somewhat dismissive. More than somewhat. However, professional courtesy keeps them in regular contact at the Institute.
