The Near Reaches

Sanctuary defines its own center, and around it they have decided to call the closest cave systems the Near Reaches. It has been plotted out by the well known cartographer Edwit Persimmon . He explored and charted the primary passageways within a five mile radius of the city. Though, with the nature of cave travel following the passage involves more doubling back and up and over than traveling as the worm burrows. This can easily be a day or more of travel depending on what your intended destination is.
The most direct route beyond is by taking the Nightriver.
