Edwit Persimmon
The most diligent mapmaker at the Unders Ecological Institute is an unassuming and polite mousefolk named Edwit Persimmon. Though he’s never seen a persimmon, he’s told that the mythological plant he is named after was sweet and has a persistent taste. So he aims to be just the same.
His maps are beloved at the Institute. One of the best reasons anyone in town has found to subscribe to Ecologist's Quarterly is for a chance to see Edwit’s maps. After all, the rest of the publication is so dense withJargon barely anyone can follow it.
When he returns to town he moonlights as a tour guide. He’s scampered the pathways of the city so many times that he knows them inside and out. Nothing delights him more than showing other people the way while providing colorful local tales.
