Irina Martin
Owner of a bookstore called Le Petit Arcane in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Early opinions of from the women of the Cazenave family did not flatter Miss Martin. She is a strikingly attractive woman, though of short stature. She wears bright red lipstick and a black cloth choker set with a red crystal, further setting off her red hair which she wears longer than currently in fashion. Her bold clothing choices would be out of place or risqué outside of the French Quarter. Possibly her heavy French accent as well.
Her involvement began by way of invitation to Jackson Elias to speak at a symposium she organized, titled "Death, Darkness, & Delights: Exploring Human Morality." By way of his invitation, Jackson introduced the investigators to Irina.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
She was first encountered at The Count's Spot hosting a dinner party. Upon meeting her she presented herself as a very direct, if not slightly intoxicated, woman with an obsession for a specific book. She was also overheard discussing the sale of magical potions and occult books from her business. Not surprisingly she performed a tarot reading, displaying deft skills handling a deck of cards. The contents of the symposium emphasized her interest in professional magicians as well as human psychology around divination.
Later in the evening she was convinced to help the investigators gain access to the Faucher Crypt at Saint Louis Cemetery #1. Though she was present for the events which occurred in the crypt, he main contribution was in assisting in the return of the rescued symposium attendees to their accommodations and glossing over the event at the symposium the next day.

History
Irina recognized Boris the moment she saw him. A bit forward for the times, she made sure Boris was aware of her interest in more than just his magic career. Perhaps obtaining an old anatomy book would be enough to generate a mutually beneficial relationship.
