Session 3 Notes

General Summary
- We started the session with rolling spot hidden checks on Jackson Elias' hands and both Nigel an Father Fury are able to see that his hands appeared to be clear of any burns or marks.
- Nigel looks at the professor's hands and Nemesio Sánchez doesn't have any injuries or obvious marks either.
- Father Fury and Boris are planning on taking off after Luis de Mendoza, Nigel and the Doc are planning on staying in the room with the professor. As the action starts, this is what happens.
- Boris tries to jump out the window to follow and Father Fury rushes to the front door. Father Fury sees a figure that looks like Mendoza as he rushes away.
- Boris leans through the window and sees Mendoza as well, rushing away from the area.
- Both give chase.
- Boris jumps out the window and takes off running after Mendoza, leaping dexterously leaping through the full tram that blocks his way.
- However, Father Fury gets held up by a group of people that want to speak with the him because he is a priest.
- Boris continues after Mendoza and does his best to not run into students and people in a crowded concourse
- Mendoza tries to parkour his way over a balustrade to try and get away from Boris but he does not succeed and ends up going ass over tea kettle landing hard on the ground on the other side. Boris notices that Mendoza has some sort of long blade.
- Father Fury cant even get out of the museum.
- Boris launches himself acrobatically over the balustrade and Mendoza, to end up on the other side of him.
- Mendoza draws a rapier and slashes at Boris after Boris fails to intimidate him.
- A sword fight begins with Mendoza drawing first blood.
- The battle continues going back and forth as Father Fury tries to get to the area.
- Boris narrowly avoids a artful blow that would have taken him in the heart.
- Boris reposts and runs Mendoza through, just as the police begin to arrive.
- Back in the museum, Elias returns with some supplies to help us care for the Professor.
- Nigel tries to explain what happened to Elias and he seems very skeptical.
- Elias tells us that the professor was asking why "he kissed me" when they came into the room.
- Doc collects some of the larva fat in a makeshift envelope.
- We try and come up with a good story for the responding authorities.
- Nigel tries to explain what happened to Elias and he seems very skeptical.
- At the scene of the fight, Boris tries to render aid to Mendoza and Father Fury, arriving at Boris' side, starts to call for a doctor.
- Boris is able to staunch the bleeding, at least temporarily with a really good first aid roll.
- An ambulance, the one that was heading to the museum, stops at the fight to try and deal with Mendoza.
- A bunch of police officers, dressed in military uniforms, descend on the area. They are all very young. They surround the area and start to contain the scene. They all have rifles and begin to point them at the Father and Boris.
- Father Fury tries to speak with the police officers in an attempt to explain the situation.
- There are two men with a stretcher and they just rush into the area and begin to ask Boris questions in Spanish. These guys shoulder Boris out of the way to take over caring for Mendoza.
- Father Fury points out the sword Mendoza had to the police and Boris shows the wound on his thigh.
- The police do secure Boris' hands and they ask that Father Fury follow Boris as they lead Boris out of the scene.
- Everything is in Spanish so it is hard to pass on information and glean what the police are saying.
- Back in the museum, it just appears that the police and the medics are heading the other way.
- We also see Boris and Father Fury being loaded into the paddy wagon.
- Nigel runs to the ambulance to try and get help, only to find that the ambulance is empty.
- After speaking with the police, ineffectively of course, Nigel is able to grab a stretcher from the back of the ambulance and they are able to load the Professor onto it. The ambulance workers return and we try to provide them an explanation as to what happened and the fact that the Professor needs to go to the hospital as well.
- There is only room for one patient.
- Nigel is able to flash some cash and he is able to engage the services of a citizen with a car to help us get the professor to the hospital.
- The ambulance ahead of us slows to a stop in the middle of the street…… The back of the ambulance pops open, Mendoza steps out, and the turns and bolts in to the crowded surrounds.
- The doc tries to get a good look at Mendoza's wound and isn't really able to see the wound. But the amount of blood on his clothing was enough to make him think that with that amount of blood loss would be hampering.
- We ended the session there.
- Things to consider for next time:
- Contact the other crew to see what they can do to help.
- Get the note translated.
- Talk to Larkin about what in the hell is Mendoza doing.
- We need to look in the ambulance.
- Get Boris and the Padre released.
- Investigate the envelope of fat.
- Come up with a plausible cover story for Sanchez.
- Make sure something is done with the body in the archives of the museum.
- Find time for Elias to tell us the rest of the shit he was gonna tell us.
