Ixsoi (ICKS OI)
The Pauper Goddess, she who succors, the humble Goddess
Youngest of the Mij'esean Pantheon, Ixsoi represents charity. Many think that her role in the pantheon runs counter to her siblings, but like all of the vice/virtue gods of the Yuan-ti, Ixsoi represents a fundamental force that requires balance. Charity is a virtue that builds the state, and forges lasting relationships. The empire would not work without some degree of kindness and selflessness, but at the same time, there is a danger. Too much given away leaves one weak, poor, and prone to be used by others. While Ixsoi may be the kindest of the serpent gods, she is far from altruistic.

Personal history
It is said when the First Emperor was nearing the end of his long life, Shivad'ress again appeared to him in all her splendor and bid him show her what had made him the greatest ruler the world had ever known. He told her of all he learned and the goddess bid him lay with her one last time. From their coupling, the goddess laid a single golden egg, from which sprung the goddess Ixsoi. Shivad'ress charged Barruj, the child born at the start of the empire to watch over his sister borne at its end, and the god has remained ever the steadfast guardian.
