Accomplishments & Achievements
Although possibly exaggerated, his accomplishments include the founding of Aj'aji and thus the entire empire, the codification of law, the sire of numerous children (including two divinities), and the defeat of at least three dragons.
Failures & Embarrassments
Though tales of the Emperor do not always involve his success, by far his greatest failure is the later life attempt to secure his own immortality. While the multiple attempts all met with failure and resulted in the deaths of many heroes (and villains) it is generally accepted that the emperor became a better leader through his failures.
Intellectual Characteristics
The first emperor is generally considered to be the exemplar of Yuan-ti behavior. He is intelligent, powerful (phyically as well as magically), self-assured, dominating, and possessing a confidence that has earned him even the admiration of gods.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Especially in the tales focusing on his earlier years the emperor was motivated by a desire to prove himself and acquire fame and acclaim. Wealth was seen as a means to that end. In later tales his goals seem to focus on establishing a legacy and attempting and failing to achieve physical immortality.
Social
Reign
Though exact dates in the Age of Myth are hard to determine, most scholars place his reign as existing somewhere in the period between 3000 and 1500 BT.
