Kythir (KAI THEAR)
Kythir is the second and smaller moon of Sanzeia. It is known full appearing bright red when full and is said to be the home of the black crystal palace of Lyndranel. This moon goes through its complete cycle every two months of the Dywdian Calendar and it is said that when its light is dominant in the sky and the light of Selune fades is a time where a person is particularly susceptible to misfortune.
History
According to the myth "The Coming of Selune" Kythir was once Sanzeia's only moon and Selune a refugee from another place. The tale recounts a relationship between the moon goddess and Calowean that ended unpleasantly with Selune being placed in the sky between closest to Sanzeia either as an insult to Lyndranel or as protection from the amorous sun god.
