Refugee Camp

Demographics

Most all of the occupants of the Refugee Camp are Orcs whose home had been destroyed by DretKag , or the few that resisted his claim to the throne. There are a few other species from mixed orcish families but they count as few in number.

Government

This Camp is no more than a collection of people all staying together for survival, there is no government, nor hierarchy present here.

Defences

The only deterrent the people of this camp have from attack is the small wooden wall built around the perimeter of the camp. With a grouping of massive pointed logs, it serves as a barrier that would slow an incoming attack rather than stop it.

Industry & Trade

All who live in the refugee camp are quite poor, with the only method of survival and hope coming from the cares of others in the camp. However ever once in a while, they do come into enough supplies to get back on their feet and then some, seemly out of nowhere.

Infrastructure

The camp started off meager and has only recently started to slowly grow, careful to avoid the attention of DretKag's Horde they remain small, even with a few newly developed wells and a few modest farming plots.

History

This camp was first made only a few years ago, Orcs hoping to flee to Arnumia from DretKag's raiding parties were stopped here by the The Strong Wall and were turned away after being denied entrance. After scores of them died alone wandering the wastes a few decided to ban together and survive together, recruiting more refugees as time when on.

Geography

The camp is set up in a mostly flat landscape with a few rolling hills in the distance. There is a small lake past the southern side of the camp which is why the location was chosen as it was originally their sole stable source of water.
