Session 01 - Repercussions

General Summary

• You were confronted by Quarte, Egbart, and Barleth, who are bitter about their loss during the staff competition and are looking for a bit of payback
• The situation gets out of hand and all three are killed and dumped off of the cliff
• Abek confers the following information to you:
  • Sov has four siblings who were created by their father to act as guides for humanity
  • At some point unknown to either Abek or Sov, these siblings were lost which left Sov as the only thing standing between humanity and The Mire, meaning he has had no way or time to guide humanity
  • He is slowly losing his fight against The Mire, and its momentum is starting to build
  • Abek does not know the exact location of the siblings, however he recently started to feel a call or connection to them that began just the day prior and points to the approximate direction of each, north-west past the Hundri forests, north-east towards the Derashi forest, south-west towards the base of the Rim, beyond the lake, and south-east in the depths of the salt marshes
• The party begins its return to The Gathering
