When in Rome, or so the saying goes. But deep in the center of the Isle of Wight off the southern coast of England is a swampy area most consider a bog. And in this bog grow old, old trees, whose roots reach down to the ruined Roman villa that used to oversee the area. And in this fallen home, from December 1551 to November 1552, Emma learns swordplay and combat from Alethia. Alethia is an Ancient Vampire who's secret slumbering place is known only to Omarosa and her. To keep that secret a secret Alethia bends her Circle to to teaching the fledgling Emma to hunt better, to fight as a Vampire, and the extent of her healing and combative abilities.
