Ehrlitan

One of the Seven "Holy Cities" founded by the Mystra presumably. As such it's lauded as the city of magic.

Demographics

• The city until recently was ruled by very prominent wizards (The headmasters of the Weave)

1. The university of wizardry (locally called the Weave) is the most prominent source of social status, wealth, trade, and government. Dedicated students, wizards, and patrons support this massive school and it's world famous. 
2. Nearly all goods and trade surround the university and it's needs. 

Government

• Now under Malazan Rule, it used to be run by the various 12 headmasters of the The Weave.
• The school is now run by High Mage Tattersail of the Malazan Empire and the 17th Legion 

Defences

• The walls are made nearly entirely of Whitestone. A magical substance used to aid in the permanent spells of the city. 

Assets

• Magically crafted goods, components, knowledge, and wizards were the primary resource of the city. 

History

• The city was supposedly founded by one of the Heralds Mystra during the age of The god kings.
