Omiokane Report

General Summary

After a short time getting to know some of the Bonehunters Second Squad of Malazan Marines in what had become the hazardous frozen wasteland of Chuth, Fenris and some of his companions journeyed to the Mountain clan island hoping to set right Omiokane. A long trek up a mountain and running into some wild Bulettes along the way they came across an area of calm amid this icey storm. They found what seemed to be a Djinn named Nimander who came here searching for some of his stolen books. Fenris and the others after promising to return his property were given some aid (a pleasant form of freedom and flight as the wind) in finding the center of the mountain. There they quickly locked down the odd guardians of the area, what looked like several statues, small silver dragon wyrmlings, and some spectral humanoid figure. Fenris destroyed many of the fractured pieces of it's metallic orb with nightblood, noticing perhaps late that destroying them in such a fashion harmed what they believed to be Omoikane. Though eventually they destroyed the rest of the statues, Fenris obtained some power, and they returned the lost property to Nimander. Nimander after some questioning offered them his aid but once in return and gave the party a sending stone to him.
