Keeper of the Gold

Roughly akin to the position of Steward in other realms.  The Keeper of the Gold has the same general job description as Stewards do.  They are in charge of managing the realm's finances.
The differences is, in most realms Steward is a very prestigious post, but in Swynfaredia, the post of Keeper of the Gold is not especially prestigious; note that the word "Dragon" isn't in the name.  Most Keepers of the Gold are squibs.
A few minor houses with a mercantile focus such as House Manasch and House Cefnor give their Stewards more status.  They would like to rechristen the title "The Dragon's Hoarder" or "the Dragon's Vault" but they don't have the political push to change tradition.
